What is the order cutoff?
Orders close Sunday at midnight. We cook on Monday and deliver on Tuesday. Place your order early -- late orders may roll to the following week.
How much do meals cost?
Meals start at $13 each. The price drops as you order more -- $12/meal at 10 meals, $11.50/meal at 12 meals, and $10/meal at 18 meals. No hidden fees, no extra charges.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 6 meals. There is no maximum -- order as many as you want. The more you order, the better the price per meal.
Can I order for next week in advance?
Yes. When next week's menu is ready you will see a "Next week" tab on the Build Your Box page. You can order for this week, next week, or both at the same time.
Do I need a subscription?
No subscription needed. Order whenever you want, as often as you want. Subscriptions will be available soon for people who want to lock in a weekly routine and save, but one-time ordering is completely fine.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards are available and make a great gift for anyone trying to eat better. You can find them here.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver within a 5-mile radius of East LA. Enter your address on the homepage to check your zone instantly.
What if I'm not in the delivery zone?
We have 6 pickup locations across greater LA -- East LA, Downtown LA, Montebello, Azusa, and West Covina. Check our pickup locations page to find the spot nearest you. We're expanding too, so drop your email on the homepage and we'll notify you when we reach your area.
When do I receive my meals?
All deliveries and pickups happen on Tuesday every week. We cook fresh on Monday and get your meals out the next day.
How do I know when my order is on the way?
You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a notification when it is on the way. Make sure your email is correct at checkout so you don't miss any updates.
Are the meals frozen?
Never. Every meal is cooked fresh that week and arrives refrigerated and ready to eat. You can freeze them yourself on arrival if you want to extend the shelf life.
How long do meals stay fresh?
Fresh meals keep for up to 5 days in the fridge from delivery day. If you freeze them upon arrival, they will last up to 10 weeks in the freezer.
How do I heat my meals?
Best results: heat in a non-stick pan on medium-high for 3 to 5 minutes. Short on time: microwave for 2 to 3 minutes, let it stand for one minute, then stir and reheat if needed. Heating from frozen: microwave for 3 to 6 minutes stirring every minute for even heating.
How much protein is in each meal?
Every meal contains 30-50g of protein and is under 550 calories. Full macros -- calories, protein, carbs, and fat -- are printed on every meal label and shown on each meal card when you order.
Are your meals seed oil free?
Yes, 100%. We cook exclusively with extra virgin olive oil. No seed oils, no canola, no vegetable oil, no shortcuts. This is something we feel strongly about and will never compromise on.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. On the Build Your Box page you can filter meals by gluten free, dairy free, and soy free so you only see meals that work for you. Each meal card shows its tags so you always know what is in it before ordering.
Does the menu change every week?
Yes. The menu rotates weekly across Mexican, Asian, Italian, Mediterranean and more. You never have to eat the same thing twice -- unless you want to.
How do I know the macros are accurate?
Macros are calculated by our chef for each specific recipe. We know our customers actually track their nutrition and we take that seriously. The numbers on the label match what is shown on the website.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Changes and cancellations can be made before the Sunday midnight cutoff. After that your meals are already being prepped. Contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to help.
Something went wrong with my order -- what do I do?
We're a family owned business and we stand behind every order. If something isn't right, contact us and we will make it right. We respond within 24 hours.
Do you have a referral or loyalty program?
